Scott L. Fishman

Scott Fishman was born in New York City and raised in Rockland County, New York. After graduating high school, he attended Emory University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History. He then headed out west and attended South Texas College of Law. While at South Texas, Scott became a certified mediator for the State of Texas, beginning his mediation career, mediating civil and family disputes.

In law school, Scott taught Peer Mediation at a local school. He taught students to resolve disputes by improving their communication skills.

Scott has always believed in giving back to his community. Since moving to Florida, Scott has worked with the Children’s Home Society and the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

Scott has experience in a variety of fields of law including insurance disputes, auto accidents, workers compensation matters and general civil litigation. In June of 2009, Scott opened Fishman Dispute Resolutions in order to provide cost-effective alternative dispute solutions for businesses and individuals. Scott is a Supreme Court Certified County and Circuit Court Mediator as well as a Qualified Arbitrator. He is licensed to practice law in Florida and is currently on inactive status with the Texas Bar. He is also licensed in the Federal Court of the Southern District of Florida.
